ABOUT THE POSITION
ITW is a global organization with approximately 50,000 employees divided into seven business segments. Within ITW Welding AB, Sweden, about 30 people work at the office in Partille. This is the Swedish hub where development, production, warehouse, maintenance, IT, lab, and quality departments are gathered, creating short decision-making paths and allowing employees to be involved in many parts of the business, from business development to production improvements.
As an IT/Production Technician, you will become a central key player in the company's work to manage, develop, and modernize the IT environment. You will also contribute to the modernization and improvement of systems and working methods in the factory. As the head of the IT sector in Partille, you will lead the work to maintain existing IT solutions and take us into future technology. At the same time, you will play an important role in factory modernization, where you will contribute innovative solutions and improved processes. You will collaborate closely with all functions at our site in Partille and also establish valuable contacts with our colleagues in Germany and the USA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job tasks
- Responsible for office and production networks
- Provide IT support and manage systems according to ISO 9001/14001
- Work with instructions and routines for production and maintenance
- Participate in requirements specification, procurement, and integration of maintenance systems
- Implement and improve production systems to optimize flows and meet requirements
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a high school education in data, IT, or automation
- Has experience from a technical role in the manufacturing industry
- Fluent in Swedish and English
It is a plus if you have
- A post-secondary education in data, IT, or automation
- Experience in server management, networks, and systems like Maximo or Infor M3
- Knowledge of German
